Dear Colleagues and Conducting Students,

I am happy to announce that we have finalized the schedule and repertoire for Part 2 of this year’s WYCW! The sessions will include previewing and study of course repertoire prior to the conducting session. This will provide an opportunity for participants to get greater insights into the repertoire. The repertoire were selected to give participants an opportunity to work with a Chamber ensemble and pick up skills that will also be relevant when conducting bigger Orchestras.

The sessions will be led by Maestro Tsung Yeh!

Tuesday, 5 Nov 2019 – Previewing Octet by Schubert
Time: 4:00pm to 6:30pm

Friday, 8 Nov 2019 – Previewing Appalachian Springs for 13 Instruments by Copland
Time: 4:00pm to 6:30pm

Sunday, 10 November 2019 – Conducting masterclass
Time: 10:00pm to 6:00pm

Fee

The fee for Active Participant for Part 2 of the WYCW 2019 is SGD$250 and will include lunch on 10 Nov 2019. If you are keen to participate in both Part 1 and Part 2, the fee will be SGD$300!

There is no fee for observers. However, only conducting sessions are open to observers.
