What a journey it has been for both the participants of this year’s edition of the WYCW and the members of the RPWS. Last night’s concert was attended by more than 900 friends and family members and I believe every single one had a memorable and fun time. RPWS concerts have always been and will always be about making our guests part of the show and last night was no different. The addition of the WYCW 2016 as the first half of the programme provided a glimpse of the talents that may dominate the Singapore band/ music scene in the future.
What did I learn from this journey? I have learnt that music is both humbling and spiritual. There is so much in the music we played last night that inspired me to want to learn more and the music notes that were pieced together to form the many phrases that flowed through each piece, moved me and gave me inner peace, happiness, joy and excitement.
The concert would not have been such a success without the efforts of everyone involved. The RPWS Student Leadership, RPWS Alumni and Friends, made the night an incredible experience for everyone.
