First Full Run for SDR IX

Last night we had our first full run rehearsal for the concert next week. It was the first time for the participants of the Woodlands Young Conductors Workshop (WYCW) 2016 to conduct their assigned pieces for the concert. It was the first time our guest Interest Groups (IG) had a sense of how they fit in the whole concert. It was also the first time the Stage Manager and crew heard and timed the whole program. Considering of the many firsts we had last night, I feel really proud of the band members and all involved in this concert. Their determination was evident and the sounds that filled that small VIP reception room was beautiful. There were some lapses in concentration near the end but it was forgivable.

Have you gotten you tickets? I promise you will have a great time or money back!… eh wait, it is FREE! So come and join us for a great evening of music and fun! Book your tickets here: https://goo.gl/VK7ozy
