We had an amazing reading session yesterday. Sadly in our excitement, none of us took pictures 😦 But I am glad we did it and I am planning the next session in November 2016 after our Reflections Concert.
What went well?
- The committee engaged the members and the members brought in friends to the session. We are gathering feedback on their experience.
- Alumni providing experienced support and invited their friends to join the session and be part of the upcoming projects.
What could be improved?
- Organising the event on a weekday night limited the amount of time available for rehearsal and also prevented more from joining the session.
- Too many pieces to read meant less time to spend on each, thus limiting the learning opportunity.
I would like to thank alumni and friends for making yesterday’s session is success and we will strive for a better one in November!
