WYCW 2016 update 1.1

Lincolnshire Posy by Percy A. Grainger is my ALL-TIME favourite piece. There are just too many lessons that can be learnt from each of the six movements. I managed to perform this piece on a couple of concerts but I know there are still many more things to discover and learn from it. I hope to do the whole work again soon.

When I was preparing materials for the WYCW 2016, I found this video on youtube. I sat down and was glued for more than 2 hours watching it. It is in my humble opinion a great example of a GREAT REHEARSAL and I wished I was in that band playing.

This is the link to the run though by Frederick Fennell after a 2 hour rehearsal with the US Navy Band

AMAZING!

Now see the work that went into producing a performance like that.

Just another update on numbers for the workshop. We have 8 Active Participants signed up!
