I realised that that when we cross that fine line between knowing and understanding, we open so many doors to musical nirvana. Hearing how much my secondary school bands have improved over the last month made me feel that my decision to teach school bands full-time was worth it.

They are making so much music that even they themselves are in disbelief. Results will matter to some but for most, the musical journey has opened so many new experiences for them and this is what Music Education is all about!
